Out of respect for those at risk, visitors are asked to bring a mask to wear whenever safe distancing is not possible.Īll contributions benefit the Monocacy Farm Project in support of the farm’s Grow Healthy Community Initiative, which provides weekly donations of healthy, freshly-harvested produce to Lehigh Valley soup kitchens and food pantries throughout the growing season. For the first time ever, we’re growing potatoes and strawberries too! A variety of flowers also are available. These include zucchini, yellow summer squash, tomatoes, cucumbers, kale, collard greens, scallions, carrots, beets, lettuce, dill, cilantro and parsley. To take part, join the program for a $10 contribution on your first visit to the farm and then donate for the produce you harvest on each subsequent visit throughout the season. The Pick-Your-Own (PYO) produce program at Monocacy Farm Project in Bethlehem, Pa., welcomes all to come out to the farm and harvest your own sustainably-grown produce each week throughout the growing season, which usually runs June through October.
